The Drum Hang 2026 Rescheduled to 2027
Dear friends, supporters, artists, suppliers, and ticket holders,
After exhausting every option available to me, I’ve made the incredibly difficult decision to reschedule The Drum Hang Fest to next year.
The simple truth is that ticket sales haven’t reached the level needed to make the festival financially viable. Despite all the work, planning, investment, and belief that’s gone into this event, we haven’t sold enough tickets to break even. Rather than risk delivering something that falls short of the vision—or put everyone involved in an even more difficult position—I believe giving the festival another year to grow is the responsible choice.
I am absolutely devastated and genuinely gutted. I poured everything I had into trying to make this happen and truly believed we could get the numbers needed. Looking back, I wish I knew what more I could have done to reach people and turn the plan into reality. Making this decision has been heartbreaking.
To everyone who bought a ticket, shared a post, offered encouragement, or believed in this idea from the beginning: thank you. Your support means more than I can express, and I hope you’ll continue to trust me as I take the next steps toward building something even stronger for next year.
To our artists, suppliers, and partners: if schedules allow, your place in the rescheduled festival will be honoured automatically. In fact, I intend to go above and beyond to recognise your commitment with additional opportunities, upgrades, and every improvement I can make to ensure the next event is even better.
For ticket holders, I will absolutely honour refund requests. However, I ask for your patience as I work through them, as it may take some time to process everyone while managing the financial impact of deposits, existing commitments, and the losses involved in postponing an event of this size.
If you’re in a position to do so, I would be incredibly grateful if you considered keeping your place for a future event instead of requesting a refund. Those who stay with me on this journey won’t be forgotten—I want to find meaningful ways to thank you and make your continued support genuinely worthwhile.
Right now, I need your patience, understanding, and support as I work through the risks, financial setbacks, and replanning required to build a stronger future for The Drum Hang and the events I hope to create for years to come.
This isn’t the ending I wanted. I still believe in this community, I still believe in this festival, and I’m determined to come back with a better date, more time to build momentum, and an event that lives up to everything we imagined.

HI! I’m Dan (Mozzie!) I am the Owner of Mozzie Drums Events & Services, a company dedicated to delivering high-quality drum-focused events in collaboration with world-renowned artists and leading music industry brands.
I have had the privilege of working with acclaimed drummers such as Thomas Lang, Greyson Nekrutman, Darby Todd and Jamie Murray, while building strong partnerships with backline companies, venues, and global manufacturers.
With a proven track record of sold-out events, I oversee every stage of event management—from artist engagement and logistics to technical coordination and audience experience. My focus is on creating seamless, professional productions that highlight drumming at the highest level while offering value to both artists and industry partners.
I am committed to continuing to grow Mozzie Drums as a trusted partner for brands and performers, ensuring every event we deliver reflects the passion, precision, and professionalism of the drumming community.
In addition to my work with Mozzie Drums, I am also a session drummer, provide maintenance and repair services, work as a drum tech, and offer drum lessons.

Important Festival Update
After much thought, we’ve made the difficult decision to postpone this year’s festival due to lower-than-expected ticket sales.
This wasn’t an easy choice, as so much time, effort, and investment has gone into making the event happen. However, we believe it’s the right decision and are already working towards bringing the festival back next year with even more time to grow and make it the success we know it can be.
Thank you to everyone who has supported us so far. Your understanding and encouragement mean the world, and we can’t wait to share our plans for 2027.
